Ottawa, ON — May 15, 2007 —The second annual Hole-in-One for Cancer Charity Golf Tournament is pleased to welcome Denis Landry as the 2007 honourary chairperson.

With the exception of a few years working with high performance athletes at Athletics Canada, Denis has spent the past 35 years as an educator. Denis' last six were as a principal with the OCDSB. In June 2003 Denis underwent his first surgery to remove what has turned out to be a recurring meningioma. He has endured three more surgeries since, with his last surgery in May of this year. As well, Denis has undergone two rounds of radiation therapy and one bout of chemotherapy. Despite these considerable challenges, Denis remains in spirit and charitable of the heart.

We welcome Denis as the honourary chairperson and thank him for the inspiration he provides to all of us.
